Kickstart your finance career at SEB! We’re looking for a student worker joining us as a Junior Prime Brokerage specialist for our team in Kungsträdgården, Stockholm. Starting in early 2026, the role offers full-time work during the summer and part-time support throughout the academic year. What you will be doing  

As a Junior Prime Brokage Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our team in providing short-selling and equity financing services to alternative asset managers, hedge funds, and financial institutions. We put client experience first and continuously develop internationally competitive products. Responsibilities include managing client trading of Prime Finance products and overseeing post-trade activities like reporting, collateral management, and coordination within SEB. Full-time summer and part-time year-round availability at our office in Kungsträdgården are expected.

In this role, your focus will be on supporting our team with different tasks related to:  

– Booking trades, collateral management and client reporting. 

– Acting as a primary contact for clients. 

– Ensuring appropriate levels of cash financing and stock lending. 

– Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. 

– Providing exceptional service to SEB customers.  

Who we are looking for  

To be a good fit for this role, you are at the beginning of your studies and have an interest in Finance, eager to learn about hedge funds and equity financing.  You have an analytical mindset, a genuine curiosity, and the drive to develop and grow in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential, and you are comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools. 

As a person, you are structured, proactive, and service‑oriented, with the ability to thrive in international teams and meet the demands of sophisticated clients. You are humble yet confident, open to new perspectives, and motivated to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
