We are hiring Fund Analysts for the most prestigious student run fund at KTH.
The KTHFS fund currently consists of 9 analysts and 3 board members, all with a strong interest in finance and equity markets. We invest and manage the surplus capital generated from KTHFS operations, with a few clear objectives: outperform the market, grow the fund over time and produce great financial analysts that aim for extraordinary careers in finance.
We are now expanding the analyst team to introduce sector heads, improve structure, and give selected members greater responsibility.
As an analyst, you will:
- Learn to analyze companies from the ground up
- Build full equity research cases including valuation and DCF
- Present 1 to 2 investment cases per month to the Investment Committee
- Contribute to quarterly reports together with your Sector Head
Who you are:
- Aiming for a future career in finance or consulting
- Genuinely interested in stocks, markets, and investing
- Curious and willing to form independent views on companies
- Comfortable working with data and financial statements
- Motivated to learn quickly and improve through feedback
- Able to take initiative and work independently
What we expect from you:
- Strong knowledge of Excel and willingness to develop advanced modeling skills
- Around 20 hours per week commitment
- High ownership and accountability for your work
- Preparation and delivery of 1 to 2 cases per month
- Contribution to team output such as quarterly reports
- Ability to handle a steep learning curve
