Pareto – Credit Research Internship

We are looking for interns to join our Credit Research team in Stockholm. This is a great opportunity to learn from the undisputed market leader within the Nordic High Yield Bond market.

Pareto is looking to expand its global credit research team, which currently consists of 11 analysts that cover +100 bond issuers across Europe and serve as integral speaking partners for institutional credit investors.

As an intern on our Credit Research team, you will have various responsibilities, assisting in the coverage of some of the most prominent companies in the Nordic high-yield market. You will work closely with senior credit research analysts, gaining hands-on experience analysing corporate credit, market trends, and risk factors. Furthermore, you offered a unique and fast-paced opportunity to experience how an investment bank functions while contributing to high-quality research.

The internship is a full-time position starting no later than January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter and lasts 8-12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Assist in the production of research reports in connection with new bond issues and regular case updates on existing issuers
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and financial models.
  • Monitor market developments, news, and data to provide timely insights.
  • Ad-hoc tasks to support research operations

Qualifications:

We are looking for students who have completed 3 or 4 years of higher education. You have strong academic achievements, analytical skills, strong social and commercial abilities, an interest in financial markets, and high ethical standards. Good written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English are essential.
