Revelop is looking for a business-oriented, structured, and analytical person to join the Investment Team. This new role is essential for identifying market opportunities and strategies by identifying and evaluating trends and market fundamentals across various real estate sectors.
The role
Key responsibilities include conducting quantitative and qualitative market research, preparing discussion materials and investment presentations, financial modelling and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, interest in macro and regional development, industry knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to present findings to senior stakeholders.
The position is based at the company’s office in central Stockholm, and you will report to the CIO.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Market Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic, demographic, and industry trends in local and regional markets to assess demographics, FDI, Regional plans, demand, rental levels, occupancy rates, and other key indicators. Identify growth areas and investment opportunities in line with Revelop investment strategy and provide insights to support competitive positioning and asset management strategies.
- Investment Memos and Presentations: Summarize complex data into actionable insights. Use research insights to support decisions on potential investment opportunities, highlighting risks, returns, and market viability. Prepare discussion and investment presentations as well as memorandums to summarize conclusions and the investment opportunity’s key characteristics, financial performance, potential risks, and overall feasibility. Support strategic decisions and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Business Plan Creation: Support in developing asset management strategies by integrating market research, financial projections, and strategic insights, focusing on goals like stabilizing occupancy, raising rental rates, or repositioning assets.
Qualifications and suitable background
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- Work experience approximately 5 years
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate markets and economic drivers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and extract insights from both structured and unstructured data.
- The ability to conduct detailed market research and interpret data for strategic recommendations.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying trends and investment potential.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel) including financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and influence decisions.
- Business English.
