Debt Capital Markets and Debt Structuring in Nordea is recruiting for a 20 weeks internship during autumn 2024.

Your future responsibilities

To start your career as an intern at Nordea Investment Banking is an excellent opportunity to increase your understanding of M&A financing and debt capital markets.

We deliver debt and risk management solutions to corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns. Our area of expertise includes advisory services covering capital structure advisory, integrated financing solutions in the bond markets, as well as origination and execution of complex debt financings.

On any given day, your work could range from fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling of acquisitions to assisting in creating sales pitch materials for a high yield bond refinancing or running deals together with more experienced colleagues through the various stages of raising debt in the capital markets. The tasks will be diverse and demanding and you will be rewarded for your hard work and commitment through the development of a competitive skill set and a unique experience that you will be able to benefit from throughout your career whether in investment banking or elsewhere.

We offer 3 positions during autumn 2024, the internship lasts for 20 weeks and is based in Stockholm.

Your profile and background:

Strong academic track record
Positive mindset and an enthusiastic approach to work
Ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines
A genuine interest in the financial markets
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Fluency in English, both speaking and writing (preferably also in Swedish)
